Cotwolds Camping is a family run campsite situated in the heart of the Cotswolds boasting outstanding views and country walks. Under new management for 2023, the campsite with enhanced facilities, including a brand new toilet block and four fabulous glamping pods complete with their own bathrooms. A new Cafe and Bar and onsite Shop with Bicycle Hire. There's no better place for a peaceful, rural getaway.


If you plan to camp with friends or family, you MUST create your bookings under the same name and add a unique group identifier in the notes section of each booking. This way we will pre allocate you pitches together.

We have three Gypsy Wagons -                 
the Lincoln, Romin and Appleby

The Gypsy Wagons have been hand-painted using traditional techniques and decorated with vibrant fabrics.  We have brought nature inside with stunning hand painted murals for a truly unique glamping experience.

Equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, firepit and electricity inside including a small kettle for tea and coffee.

There is also shared kitchen facilities with microwave, toaster, fridges and freezer which your welcome to use.
Please note, the Gypsy Wagons sleep two adults, but are NOT SUITABLE for people over 6ft / 1.83m tall.

What We Do…

Here at Cotswolds Camping we take Tents, Caravans, Campervans and Motorhomes.

We also have four luxury Glamping Pods with kettles, heaters and a toilet with sink. These sleep up to three people.

Two Camping Pods with a kettle and heater. These sleep two people.

Then two Stable Barns, supplied with a kettle, toaster and heater. They will sleep four people. 

Please note, across all our accommodations you MUST supply your own bedding
(pillow cases, sheets and duvets)

If you're looking for large group bookings, events, gatherings or an entire venue. We have two Private Group Fields with sole use facilities. One called the Ranch Group Field and the other named the Top Meadow Group Field.

Cotswolds Camping finds itself nestled in the ideal location to explore the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. 

Oxford is an easy train journey away with Charlbury train station being a mere 5 minute drive from the campsite. 

Stratford-upon-Avon is under 30 miles away and Woodstock even closer.

The famous Blenheim palace ( holding events throughout the year), is only 9 miles away.

For those of us that like shopping, Bicester Village designer outlet shopping centre is only a 25 minute drive away.

  1. Open from the 1st of March to 31st October, welcoming families.
  2. Please check in at reception, if no one is there please call us on the number provided or use the site Walkie Talkie (channel 5) to check in.
  3. Grass pitches with electric hook-ups available with parking adjacent to pitch.
  4. NOTE: Please bring a 25m electric hook up cable as this gives you more options on where you can be placed.
  5. We have two separate sole use family/ group fields both with their own fully kitted out kitchen facilities and a private toilet & shower. We have our Ranch style group field and our Top Meadow field, please email us for further information.
  6. Well behaved dogs welcome - on leads.  Well behaved owners are also welcome - please CLEAN UP after your dog.
  7. BBQs and Firepits are allowed - they must be raised off the grass with the bricks provided around the campsite. We also have fire pits for hire and firewood for sale. For Fire Safety, campfires may be stopped after extended periods of hot and dry weather.
  8. During colder periods and extended periods of rain, we ask that you are patient with staff when being taken to your pitch. It’s advised to drive over the grass in second gear (if possible) and reduce some of the pressure in your tyres to create more grip. We have an electric tyre inflator on site.
