Cotwolds Camping is a family run campsite situated in the heart of the Cotswolds boasting outstanding views and country walks. There's no better place for a peaceful, rural getaway.

You can now book online and self allocate pitches, use the “Book online” button found next to this text. Add all the relevant information for your first pitch , then select “Search” and choose the appropriate pitch from the list. Proceed past the “Optional Extras” and the “Additional Information” page (not forgetting to add a group name if staying with friends and family) then on the “Summary Page” you will be able to “Add Another Booking” just above the “Confirm and Continue” button. You can repeat this process as many times as you wish to get yourself , your friends or family all placed together in your perfect pitches. Please don't forget to let us know you intend to camp together in "additional information" page to ensure your pitches remain together.

       IMPORTANT NOTICE, PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!

 

  • ALL of our pitches are now SELF- ALLOCATED If you plan to camp with FRIENDS or FAMILY, you can now self allocate yourself pitches. You can use online booking map to select your perfect pitches. It’s advised to communicate within your group the pitches your picking and try and book at the same time if booking separately. 


  • To book as a GROUP , you need to select your first pitch and input all the necessary information, you will then have the option to add another pitch to your basket. You can input different arrival and departure dates within one booking and allocate your group pitches together. Please leave in the notes a unique group reference so we know you are wanting to be pitched together.

 

  •  Each pitch is STRICTLY for ONE UNIT (one tent, campervan or caravan etc) anyone found to be placing more than one unit on a pitch without prior communication will be charged the appropriate amount alongside a £25 admin fee.

 

  • Pitchup bookings are randomly assigned pitches and these cannot be changed under any circumstances. Please ensure you have made ONE booking for your entire stay, if you make multiple bookings for your stay you will be allocated multiple pitches and will have to move. Pitchup customers also have a slightly  different check in time. Please refer to the terms and conditions found on Pitchups listing and NOT on this website.

If you are on site and staying with us , its always advisable to text the warden before calling with any queries , questions or emergencies you may have throughout your stay. In your booking confirmation you will have a list of all the on site facilities and the times they are open!

What We Do…


Here at Cotswolds Camping we take Tents, Roof Tents, Caravans, Campervans and Motorhomes. We also have two Private Fields available for hire. 

Our two Private Group Fields, The Ranch Group Field and Meadow Group Field are priced at £55 per pitch /per night. There's no limitations on the amount of people per pitch or the size of unit, you can hire in bouncy castles, caterers or anything you see fit. The field is your's to enjoy solely. The fields come with a private shower, toilet, fully fitted out kitchens with kettles, toasters, fridge, oven and all the necessary items you'd find in a kitchen. 

We also have four luxury Glamping Pods with kettles, heaters and a toilet with sink. These sleep up to three people.

Two Camping Pods with a kettle and heater. These sleep two people.

Then two Stable Barns, supplied with a kettle, toaster and heater. They will sleep four people. 

Please note, across all our accommodations you MUST supply your own bedding

(pillow cases, sheets and duvets)

We require a £25 refundable security deposit for all our accommodations to cover any damages , breakages or lost items (you will not be able to start your holiday until paid)

Stay in one of our three authentic quirky Gypsy Wagons - Lincoln, Romin and Appleby

The Gypsy Wagons have been hand-painted using traditional techniques and decorated with vibrant fabrics.  We have brought nature inside with stunning hand painted murals for a truly unique glamping experience.

Equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, firepit and electricity inside including a small kettle for tea and coffee.  There is also shared kitchen facilities with microwave, toaster, fridges and freezer which you’re welcome to use.

Please note: 
The Gypsy Wagons sleep two adults, but are NOT SUITABLE for people over 6ft / 1.83m tall.

Open from the 1st of March to 31st October, welcoming families and friends.

  1. Please check in at reception, if no one is there please call us on the number provided or use the site Walkie Talkie (channel 5) to check in. check in times are between 12 o'clock and 8pm, please do not attempt to check in outside of these times. 
  2. Grass pitches with electric hook-ups available with parking on the pitch- NOTE: Please bring a 25m electric hook up cable alongside your normal cable as this gives you more options on where you can be placed.
  3. Well behaved dogs welcome - must be on leads at all times.  Well behaved owners are also welcome - please CLEAN UP after your dog.
  4. BBQs and Firepits are allowed - they must be raised off the grass. We have firemats you can purchase. We also have fire pits for hire and firewood for sale. (Please note -A £50 refundable cash deposit is required to hire out a firepit) -For Fire Safety, campfires may be stopped after extended periods of hot and dry weather.
  5. During colder periods and extended periods of rain, we ask that you are patient with staff when being taken to your pitch. It’s advised to drive over the grass in second gear (if possible) and reduce some of the pressure in your tyres to create more grip. We have an electric tyre inflator on site. 
  6. Please take all your camping equipment home with you. The bins are NOT for you to dispose of unwanted camping equipment. Please take a proactive approach to sorting your rubbish into recycling and non recyclables. Please crush your cans and flatten any boxes. We insist on separating rubbish,  if it’s obvious you’ve made no attempt to organise your waste following the above guidance you will not be able to use the bins and will have to take your rubbish home.
